On April 29, 2024, Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) stirred excitement among its customers with a limited-time offer marking five years of CKD operations. The announcement slashed the price of the Stonic EX+ by a substantial Rs. 1,500,000.

Following the price adjustment, Lucky Motors witnessed an overwhelming response from eager customers. The demand surged, leading to a rush of bookings for the Stonic, stretching deliveries until September 2024. With the delivery queue extending, Lucky Motors assured customers that the process would commence in May 2024, adhering to the sequence of bookings.

Partial Payments

To manage the influx of bookings, Lucky Motors has announced new adjustments for September 2024 deliveries. Customers securing their bookings for this period would need to make partial payments of Rs. 2.35 million.

However, the company also hinted at the possibility of further orders beyond September 2024, depending upon market response and stock availability. Future orders for October 2024 onwards would be subject to separate communication, indicating the company’s commitment to transparent and efficient customer service.

Price Lock Offer

LMC sought to reassure its valued customers by introducing a ‘price lock’ mechanism. This feature aimed to protect customers who booked their vehicles for September deliveries, regardless of any potential changes in government duties, taxes, or levies. While LMC would absorb any additional costs incurred before delivery, customers would be responsible for any new duties or taxes introduced by the government.

Interestingly, following the drop in Stonic’s price, Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) also slashed the price of its prominent hatchback ‘Swift’ to at least balance the price game. Earlier, LMC’s subsidiary Peugeot Pakistan also reduced the price of its only car in the country ‘Peugeot 2008’ by Rs 4.5 lac.
