The Kia EV6 electric crossover is set for launch with funkier styling and a refreshed interior. Two new official images have been released showing angular headlights and a sporty interior hinting at a spacious cabin. The KIA EV6 was initially launched in 2022 as the Korean manufacturer’s first dedicated battery electric vehicle, competing against the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

KIA EV6 – Facelift

Recently surfaced pictures helped us get a sneak peek at the styling upgrades this new EV6 will receive. Overall, its design philosophy will be greatly influenced by the recently launched Kia EV9 SUV and Kia Niro.

The exterior of this 2025 model will have C-shaped angular headlights, a refreshed rear light bar as a taillight, a tiger nose grille, and ultra-slim DRLs. This sleek designed crossover will have an 84.0-kWh battery pack featuring fast charging capability.

Interior

Team Kia has not made any official announcements about the interior styling, but we expect a refreshed infotainment system, a ‘triple panorama display’ from the EV9, a 12.3-inch driver’s display, 12.3-inch central touch screen, a 5.3-inch screen sandwiched between for taking complete climate control.

However, these are not the expected tweaks only; this EV promises to feature an elegant driving experience with better sound insulation and swift road handling, too.

The Kia EV6 was the first model developed with the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which is the same as the underpinning of its sister car, the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Kia has vowed that this one will see a complete reveal later this year, joining the EV lineup, which 6 other bespoke models will later follow, likely following a nomenclature of EV3, EV4, EV5, and EV2 launching in 2025 and 2026 as planned by the company.
